Join Our Team as a Clinical Research Midwife

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Clinical Research Midwife to support and deliver clinical research studies at Saint Mary's at Wythenshawe. As a key member of our midwifery research team, you will contribute to the development of research within our department.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working closely with our research team to design, implement, and evaluate clinical research studies. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from improving patient outcomes to developing new treatments and devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical research studies, including data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop and implement research protocols
  • Provide high-quality care to patients participating in research studies
  • Guide and advise patients on their treatment options and research journey
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical research governance and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a healthcare subject or equivalent experience
  • Midwife Ultrasound Practitioner qualification
  • Additional specialist training in clinical research
  • Understanding of clinical research and ICH-GCP regulations
  • Demonstrable IT skills, including email and Microsoft Office programs
