Job Title: Band 6 Community Midwife

We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Community Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality antenatal care to women across Manchester and the North West.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in antenatal services. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality antenatal care to women, including routine check-ups, risk assessments, and management of complications.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide education and support to women, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Experience of working in antenatal services, preferably in a community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
