Senior Mental Health Specialist

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading and developing mental health services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop mental health services, including managing clinical teams and prioritizing workload
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in clinical research and service evaluation, contributing to the development of new treatments and interventions
- Contribute to educational programs, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students
Person Specification:
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualifications
- Full GMC registration and Section 12 approval under the Mental Health Act
- Demonstrated expertise in general adult psychiatry, with a strong track record of leadership and collaboration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £103,000 - £114,500 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, access to a dedicated research and innovation team, and opportunities for professional development and training.
