Special Needs Intervention Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Teacher to join our team at Academics. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering intervention lessons to pupils aged 9-16 who have a range of learning and behavioural needs due to social, emotional and mental health challenges.
About the School:
The school is a specialist provision that provides support for children with complex needs. Our pupils require a high level of care and support, and we are looking for someone who can provide this in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering intervention lessons to bridge gaps in learning and build confidence and self-esteem
- Managing children's behaviour during lessons and providing positive reinforcement
- Working closely with other staff members to develop and implement individualised learning plans
