Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, procedure support, and post-procedure recovery.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring that individual patient needs are met and exceeded.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in interventional radiology.

Requirements- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
- Experience in interventional radiology or a related field, with a strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in interventional radiology.
