Mental Health Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Mental Health Assistant to join our team at a reputable Primary School in the Borough of Redbridge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, including those with Work Experience Placements, Learning Skills Centre, and College Links.
  • Plan and run group sessions and 1:1 sessions addressing the needs of students.

Requirements:
  • Graduates with a keen interest in Mental Health, Therapy, Psychological Research, Education, Speech and Language, and Special Needs.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues, parents, and carers.
What We Offer:
