SEMH Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
About the RoleBased in Waterloo, Lambeth, you will work on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting children with SEMH. Your role will involve running targeted intervention sessions and helping boost pupils' academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities- Support children with SEMH needs in a 1:1 and small group setting
- Run targeted intervention sessions to help pupils thrive academically and emotionally
- Work closely with a supportive team of SENCo, Psychologists, and Therapists
- Gain experience in a thriving primary school environment
- A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs
- Ability to work term-time only
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
