Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant in Psychology

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

Location: Alternative Provision in Ardwick

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Psychology Graduate to support students with SEMH needs in an alternative provision in Ardwick. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or PTSD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEMH needs
  • Work with small groups of children with SEMH needs
  • Build rapport with students and support their social and behavioural needs
  • Act as a mentor to students

Requirements:

  • Psychology (BA Hons) degree
  • Enhanced DBS (clean and relevant)
  • Safeguarding, prevent awareness & FGM training essential
  • Behaviour management training desirable
  • Previous experience working with young people
