Job Description

The role of Purchasing Expert involves owning, delivering, and optimizing the buying and selling strategy for specific categories within our stores. You will be responsible for driving sustainable market share growth and cash profit through competitive and distinctive customer offers.

You'll work cross-functionally with our teams to review product ranges, identify opportunities for improvement, new product development, and cost savings. Your strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and effective communication will enable you to make key decisions in both the Buying Strategy and Selling Strategy.

As a Purchasing Expert, you'll optimize the supply base, manage supplier relationships, and lead cross-functional projects to deliver successful outcomes. With excellent communication skills, adaptability, and resilience, you'll navigate complex information, influence stakeholders, and lead relevant projects to successful delivery.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your basic pay, you may be eligible for a performance-related bonus of up to 20% of salary.
