Job Title: Children's Nurse Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Nurse to join our team as a Lead. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nursing and be able to provide leadership and guidance to our nursing team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert inter-professional care for sick babies, children, and young people and their families.
  • Integrate management of inpatient wards to ensure a cohesive and streamlined service.
  • Liaise and cooperate with other teams to ensure full utilization of services.
  • Provide professional leadership and participate in standard setting.
  • Coordinate a team to ensure the delivery of effective nursing care to patients and their families.
  • Lead the Clinical Governance agenda at ward level.
Requirements:
  • Registration on Part 1, 8, or 15 of the NMC RSCN/Child Branch.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related specialty at a previous grade.
  • Evidence of leading, motivating, and supporting a team.
  • Decision-making skills - clinical and non-clinical.
  • Ability to performance manage team members where appropriate.
