Job Title: Children's Nurse Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Nurse to lead our team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional care to children and young people.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience at Band 6 or above. They will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team to deliver high-quality care.

The role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, as well as contributing to the development of nursing policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and the needs of children and young people with complex health needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care to children and young people
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing team
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • Registration on Part 1, 8 or 15 of NMC RSCN/Child Branch
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience at Band 6 or above in a related specialty
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to motivate and support a team
  • Strong understanding of child development and the needs of children and young people
