Job Title: Assistant Director of Sales – MICE

AccorHotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Sales – MICE to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate the MICE Sales team to achieve sales targets and budget.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on team performance, contribution, and activity.
  • Sales Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with the MICE Sales Office Manager to develop and implement client engagement strategies.
  • Special Projects: Lead special projects to drive business growth and improve sales performance.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Account Management: Manage a select portfolio of accounts to drive business growth.
  • Travel and Trade Shows: Conduct sales trips and attend trade shows to expand existing relationships and drive business growth.
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist with the recruitment process and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Performance Review: Conduct regular performance reviews to recognize and celebrate success and refocus effort where required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior MICE Sales position.
  • Qualifications: Fluency in English, written and spoken is a must.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
