Editorial Content Manager

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is partnering with a renowned contemporary art gallery in London to find an exceptional Editorial Content Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creative process and writing/editing of content for press releases, previews, social media, and online exhibitions.
- Collaborate with artists, studios, liaisons, and Digital and Communications management to achieve high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain artist biographies for website artist pages.
- Contribute to writing applications for art fairs with directors and artist liaisons.
- Create content for handouts and wall vinyls.
- Edit and proofread all writing for the London gallery.
- Manage website and digital communications' written content, including digital invitations and newsletters.
- Work on video material, including communicating with directors, conducting Q&As and interviews with artists, reviewing edits with artist liaisons, and coordinating with the Head of Digital for London.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working at a contemporary art institution or commercial gallery.
- Academic proficiency, such as writing offers for artwork dossiers.
- Outstanding English language ability, writing, and editing skills.
- Capacity to create readable texts for various gallery objectives.
- A keen sense of detail and solid proofreading abilities.
