Nursing Home Care Worker Job Description

At Jupiter Recruitment, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and caring Nursing Home Care Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker in this role, you will be an essential part of the care team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.

  • You will assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship.
  • Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to care for others and possess good verbal and written communication skills. This role requires a good team player who is able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
