As a Specialist Behavioural Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, enabling them to live full and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to develop their independent living skills and maintain their wellbeing.
  • Developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to individuals and their families.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals to help them manage their anxieties and frustrations.
  • Recording and reporting on individual progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to drive as part of support duties.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
