Job Title: Consultant Neurologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality neurology services to patients in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general neurology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Offer subspecialty expertise to complement the delivery of a high-quality, comprehensive Neurology service by the department
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of students at Nottingham University Medical School and Specialist Trainees in Neurology
  • Participate in the delivery of Inpatient Care on a "Consultant of the Week" (COTW) system
  • Contribute to the provision of Hyper-Acute Neurology Unit (HANU) services

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in neurology
  • Subspecialty expertise in Epilepsy and motor neurone disease (desirable)
