Neurology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurology Consultant to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality neurology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This will include provision of general neurology services, as well as subspecialty expertise in areas such as dementia and cognitive disorders.
The post-holder will work closely with a team of Consultant Neurologists to provide a comprehensive neurology service. This will involve contributing to the delivery of teaching and training to students at Nottingham University Medical School, as well as to contribute to teaching, training and supervision of Specialist Trainees in Neurology.
The successful candidate will be expected to work on a "Consultant of the Week" (COTW) system, contributing to the care of patients in their charge. This will include working on the neurology ward, which is a shared area with neurosurgery, and contributing to the provision of Hyper-Acute Neurology Unit (HANU) services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology, with experience in delivering high-quality patient care. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
