Senior Social Worker Role

The Senior Social Worker role is a pivotal part of our multidisciplinary team at Northamptonshire Children's Trust, focusing on supporting families in care proceedings where drugs and alcohol are a significant issue.
With an established track record of forming effective working relationships with parents to address problem drug and alcohol use, this unique safeguarding role provides a chance to work with a broad range of professionals and organisations.
We are committed to achieving the best outcomes for children, young people, and families. As a member of our FDAC team, you will contribute to providing an emotionally safe space for parents to address their difficulties, achieve abstinence, and become able to focus on their child.
Your role will be to support the development of team policies, procedures, and practice, as well as promoting and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with partner agencies.
This is an exempt position from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, requiring an enhanced DBS certificate and Barred List check.
