Senior Social Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team (DAAT) at Northamptonshire Children's Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our community.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of the legislative framework and range of services available to children and families. You will be responsible for responding to new referrals from professionals and members of the public, working collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure immediate and prompt responses.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with children and young people on a short-term basis, supporting them until their cases transfer to other teams. Your knowledge of the main issues affecting your client group and awareness of the organisational framework within which services are provided will be essential in this role.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible working practices, monthly high-quality supervision, and the opportunity to contribute to improving the service.
