Nuffield Health, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team at our Glasgow Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services, including performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting
  • Quality control and record-keeping of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables
  • Validation and assessment of new equipment and development of new diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Relevant laboratory experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion biomedical science
  • Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques
