We are an independent adhesive manufacturing company based in the UK, supplying solvent-based and water-based adhesives to various industries worldwide.
About Us:We are a leading manufacturer of adhesives, committed to delivering high-quality products that meet our customers' needs. Our success is driven by innovative product development, identification of niche market applications, and exceptional technical support to our sales team, production staff, and customers.
- Develop new adhesives, including conducting tests, producing Material Data Sheets (MDS), and supporting labelling requirements.
- Source high-quality materials and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Reformulate existing adhesives to optimise costs and find replacements for specific chemicals.
- Purchase and maintain laboratory equipment as needed to support ongoing research and development activities.
Drive the development of new adhesives, ensuring they meet customer needs and are cost-effective.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure product quality and safety.
- Produce detailed Material Data Sheets (MDS) and support labelling requirements.
Source high-quality materials and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Ensure that all sourced materials meet company standards and regulations.
Maintain a well-equipped laboratory, ensuring that all necessary equipment is up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Purchase and install new laboratory equipment as needed.
- Train colleagues on the safe use of laboratory equipment.
HND, Degree or equivalent industrial experience.
SkillsHSE and regulatory responsibilities advantageous.
Sourcing and cost analysis of new materials.
Effective communication with colleagues and customers in person and on telephone.
Positive attitude and flexible to move with changing business requirements.
Driving licence is essential due to location of rural site.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Salary and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a positive work-life balance.
