A reputable secondary alternative provision in Burnley is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide comprehensive pastoral, social, emotional, and well-being support for children across the school.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is dependent on skills and experience, with all pay rates inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Job Description
This temp to perm role involves:
- Assisting with the implementation of individualised education or behaviour plans for students;
- Providing one-on-one support or small group support to help children overcome academic challenges and develop social and emotional skills;
- Collaborating with teachers to create and adapt classroom activities to cater to diverse learning needs;
- Promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
