Job Title: Administrative Officer - Runcorn

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Officer to join our team based at Runcorn MOJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the admin team, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collection of financial impositions imposed by the Court
  • Accurate allocation of money to accounts
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintenance of a suspense report
  • General photocopying and filing
  • Creation and updating of records on in-house computer system and data input
  • Post opening and receipting cash and cheques
  • Handling telephone and written enquiries
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Running reports

Training will be provided on internal systems. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this post, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Minimum qualifications: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language or equivalent), NVQ Business Administration Level 2, or relevant clerical experience
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
