Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant



We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a SEN Learning Support Assistant in a wonderful Primary school in the Swadlincote, Derbyshire area.



The successful candidate will have experience working with children in a primary school setting with SEN, and will be able to support the teacher and the class to encourage learning. The role will be a mixture of 1:1 with a child with SEN and small group work.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
  • Working with the teacher and the class to encourage learning
  • Providing 1:1 support to a child with SEN
  • Leading small group work sessions


Requirements:




  • Experience working in KS1 and/or KS2
  • Happiness to work in small groups and 1:1
  • Relevant qualifications – level 2 and higher
  • Strong knowledge of SEN
