About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead our proposal development process from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting winning proposals that align with our company objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, and subject matter experts to develop a comprehensive proposal strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, legal, technical, and operations, to compile relevant inputs for a strong, unified bid.
  • Write and edit proposal sections, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Work with finance/CFO and commercial teams to develop competitive, profitable pricing.
  • Identify potential risks and communicate these to stakeholders, proposing solutions to maintain the viability of the bid.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a closely related field of Bid Management.
  • Professional certifications in Project or Bid Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, APMP) are advantageous.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills to craft clear, persuasive proposals.
  • Skilled in shaping commercial elements and achieving favourable outcomes.
  • Evaluate risks, interpret data, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
