About the Role

We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team at the Greater London Authority. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and delivering complex research projects, with a focus on crime, criminal justice, and policing in London.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research into crime and policing trends in London, using a range of methodologies including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches.
  2. Design and deliver complex research projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that the research meets their needs and expectations.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including police forces, local authorities, and community groups.
  4. Contribute to the development of policy and strategy, using research evidence to inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience of conducting research into crime and policing, with a focus on London.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of working in a policy or research environment, with a focus on crime and policing.
