Senior Financial Crime Analyst Opportunity

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our team and lead client projects focused on financial crime risk. You will work closely with internal and external teams to design, implement, and optimize financial crime detection systems and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement advanced AML and TM models to detect suspicious behavior and optimize system effectiveness.
  2. Analyze large datasets to identify key trends or anomalies in transaction data and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to financial crime prevention.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build predictive models using advanced statistical techniques and leverage SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial crime analytics and strategy within industry or consulting.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL or Python, with ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
