Job Description

This is a pivotal role within our Security Team, where you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and enhancing diverse applications that support our mission to protect user data.

Your focus will be on creating web applications and dashboards tailored for our Security Team organization, with a particular emphasis on automation and asset inventory management. You'll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment, utilizing a wide range of technologies such as React, Typescript, and Node.js.

This role can be based out of our London office or remotely in the UK region, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

  • You'll have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively collaborate with your team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes seamlessly, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in building scalable and modern web applications, with a strong background in software development.
  • Over 2 years of hands-on experience building scalable and modern web applications using the MERN stack with Typescript, demonstrating expertise in full-stack development.
  • Demonstrable expertise with Node.js and an API framework (Express, Next.js, Fastify, etc.), enabling you to create robust and efficient APIs.
  • Thorough understanding of data structures, data modelling, and database schema, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Good working knowledge of key software architecture concepts, allowing you to design and implement scalable systems.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines and mechanisms, facilitating smooth project delivery and deployment.
  • Demonstrable experience applying security best practices such as principles of least privilege and defense-in-depth, maintaining a high level of security awareness.
  • Good working knowledge of software testing practices, ensuring the quality and reliability of your code.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing (Cypress, Jest, Playwright, etc.), allowing you to write comprehensive test suites.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrable expertise with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SSO, certificate-based authentication, etc.), ensuring secure access control.
  • Comfortable working within distributed teams, adapting to different work styles and environments.
  • Candidates should possess a natural ability to take charge, make informed decisions, and guide their team, demonstrating leadership potential.

Success Measures
