Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Participation Manager to lead our Arts Education and Participation Programme. This programme aims to champion Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity by removing barriers to training and improving access to the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop, implement, and manage the National Opera Studio's Learning and Engagement Programme
  • Act as the key contact for stakeholders, partners, and participants of the National Opera Studio's Learning and Engagement Programme
  • Develop and manage a national network of training opportunities and connections that expand across the UK
  • Programme manage all outreach work, including collaborative projects with delivery partners and NOS short courses
  • Further develop the Programme in line with the vision and mission of NOS
Requirements
  • Experience developing and managing budgets for a programme of work
  • Experience developing and implementing new strategies
  • Experience applying for funding opportunities
  • Experience managing projects with classical music
  • Experience working within Learning and Participation and/or Education
  • Experience with general and financial administration
  • Experience identifying and cultivating significant partnerships
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of singing and/or opera
  • Experience and knowledge of working to promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for arts education and participation. As well as professional development opportunities, you will also receive a DBS check reimbursement.
