**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Office Manager to join our dynamic team in South Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing critical administrative, HR, and operational functions while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and service standards.

This role involves:

  • Leading the coordination of day-to-day workflows to ensure smooth operation across legal services teams
  • Collaborating with senior management to monitor and report on team performance against key metrics
  • Implementing technology solutions to optimize workflows and enhance client satisfaction
  • Overseeing client issue resolution, escalating matters when necessary and ensuring successful outcomes

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organizational skills, effective communication and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A willingness to learn new systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives for team members
  2. Conduct performance evaluations and regular check-ins to maintain team motivation and performance
  3. Ensure compliance with HR policies, including holiday tracking, absence management, and training plans
  4. Manage the firm's office environment, ensuring resources are in place to support business activities
  5. Coordinate with external providers for office repairs, IT setups, and health and safety compliance
  6. Oversee first-aid and fire-safety protocols, ensuring up-to-date certification and training

Salary & Benefits:

£30,015 - £37,000 per annum, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, Annual Bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus Banks.
