Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to drive commercial strategy, manage high-value contracts, and develop key customer relationships. You will be based in Bath with an expectation of at least 3 days a week office working. You may also be required to travel to other locations in the UK, Portugal and Europe in line with business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Defining and executing the commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the Defence Business Unit and wider Tekever Group.
  2. Overseeing and leading negotiations of complex, high-value contracts with key aerospace and defence customers and suppliers.
  3. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual Terms and Conditions, contract changes with customers and major sub-contractors to manage commercial risk effectively.
  4. Identifying and managing commercial risks associated with contracts, ensuring compliance with aerospace and defence industry standards and regulations.
  5. Leading, mentoring and building a high-performing commercial team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  6. Providing commercial support and advice to the BU to contribute to ensuring the appropriate balance of risk and reward and adherence to all relevant legislation, requirements and standards.
  7. Driving profitability through effective pricing strategies, contract management and cost control.
  8. Analysing financial performance data to inform strategic decision making and manage the commercial budget, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective services and solutions that add value.
