Job Title: Financial Record Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounts assistant to join our team at Ford Roofing Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable, reconciling supplier accounts monthly, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records using Sage accounting software.
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Relevant qualification in finance or accounting is an advantage.
