About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to join our team at I3, a leading insurance company based in the City of London. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading our IT Service Desk team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional IT services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Desk Performance and Improvement
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve service desk performance, including proactive oversight and automation.
    • Monitor and analyze service desk metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Incident and Request Fulfillment
    • Ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents and requests.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
  • Asset Management and Compliance
    • Oversee the management of IT assets, including hardware and software provisioning.
    • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead and manage a team of IT service desk analysts.
    • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams.
    • Communicate IT service desk performance and issues to senior management.
Requirements
  • Technical Competence
    • Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Office, Azure Entra, Azure Admin, Teams Admin, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, and printing technology.
    • Experience with OpenBox, Impact, DocoSoft, RMS, Workday, and ProCede applications.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills
    • Proven experience in leading a team and managing multiple priorities.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Business Acumen
    • Understanding of business operations and processes.
    • Ability to analyze business needs and develop IT solutions.
