About the Role

The Isle of Man Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead its Policy and Legislation team. As Head of Policy and Legislation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective policies and legislation that support the Department's core purpose of improving the quality of health and social care services for the Island's residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team to deliver the Department's primary and secondary legislation programme
  • Develop and implement modern, fit-for-purpose legislation that supports the Department's core purpose
  • Contribute to the Department's Senior Leadership Team and support a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Support the development of a culture that celebrates diversity and promotes best practice
