Care Team Leader Role Summary: As a seasoned Health Care Assistant, you will be leading a small team in delivering exceptional care to adults with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia, and physical disabilities. This role presents an opportunity to take the next career step, working closely with the Nurse in Charge.

We are seeking a motivated individual who can lead our Care Teams in supporting every aspect of our residents' day-to-day lives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care support to individuals
  • Assisting with meal times
  • Understanding and addressing individual health and wellbeing needs
  • Promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect
  • Leading and motivating a team of care colleagues

We have higher-than-average staffing levels, allowing our team members to dedicate more time to supporting our residents. This role is ideal for someone who values fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork. The successful candidate will possess:

  • A caring, kind, and understanding approach
  • The ability to deal with and de-escalate challenging situations
  • Energy and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

To succeed in this role, you must have relevant experience, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, and Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent functional skills qualification). We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus great benefits including regular supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, access to wages before payday, and more.
