We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Governance Specialist to oversee the coordination and integration of our project-wide activities, ensuring compliance with Regulations 4 and 5 of CDM2015.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing client-side governance and assurance of delivery of CDM Duty Holder Roles.
  • Overseeing the coordination and integration of PD and PC activities.
  • Developing, maintaining, and communicating the CDM Strategy.
  • Conducting Competence Assessments/Audits to ensure competent contractors/designers are appointed.
  • Ensuring sufficient Client-led Pre-Construction Information is obtained and provided.
  • Driving the use of collaborative platforms for Safety in Design.
  • Coordinating significant CDM risks.
  • Developing KPIs to measure and report on the CDM Strategy's implementation and advising on CDM matters.
  • Advising the Client on significant CDM issues and ensuring CDM obligations are met.
  • Monitoring CDM hazards identified by design teams.
  • Auditing PD duties, including safety in design, design review meetings, and H&S File development.
  • Auditing PC duties, including construction phase plans and construction site safety arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Professionally Qualified – ideally Graduate status with the IOSH.
  • Membership of Association for Project Safety.
