Job Description

Graduate Health and Safety Consultant required to join a multi-disc construction sector consultancy.

You will be fully supported and trained to enable you to perform the role of Health and Safety Consultant and Principal Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site visits across the Home Counties to undertake audits and inspections.
  2. Develop skills to manage your own projects, being the key interface between Client Teams, Design Teams, Principal Contractors, and others to deliver projects.
  3. Carry out thorough reviews of site project information and construction drawings, and identification of design, construction and maintenance risks through Design Risk Reviews.
  4. Attend Design and Project Meetings as required throughout projects.
  5. Prepare, coordinate and distribute relevant Health and Safety Information to other design and project team members.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety legislation, construction methods and processes, and other associated legislation.
