Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist CAMH CBT Practitioner to join our Hammersmith and Fulham Tier 2 Community CAMHS team. The successful candidate will work with children, young people, and their families in a training and progression role.
The team consists of psychologists, assistant psychologists, trainee and qualified CBT practitioners, family therapists, child psychotherapists, social workers, and Child Wellbeing Practitioners. We offer a range of targeted, early interventions to children and young people aged 0-18 who are experiencing mild-moderate mental health difficulties.
As a Specialist CAMH CBT Practitioner, you will provide a qualified specialist CBT service to children and adolescents in Hammersmith and Fulham Tier 2 CAMHS aged 0-18 and their families, across all sectors of care. You will offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers.
Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one therapeutic mental health interventions with children and families.
- Conduct mental health assessments of children and young people.
- Make an assessment of risk and record and communicate it appropriately.
- Conduct group therapeutic interventions with children and their families.
- A minimum of a Second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant subject.
- Qualification in an appropriate mental health profession and registration with relevant UK governing body.
- PGDip in CYP-IAPT CBT.
- Qualification in therapeutic approaches with children and families.
Salary: £44,806 - £53,134 per annum inclusive of all allowances.
