Occupational Health Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at RWE AG. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a key role in providing a proactive and compliant occupational health and wellbeing service to our sites across the East Coast, Yorkshire, and the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a coordinated approach to occupational health and wellbeing management for all RWE UK Companies, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver health and wellbeing services, including fitness for work medicals, health surveillance, case management, sickness absence management, and health promotion initiatives.
- Support the development and delivery of targeted campaigns to improve the health and wellbeing of our employee cohort, based on data analysis and best practice.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, HR, and business leads to enhance the occupational health and wellbeing service.
- Audit clinical practice and records to ensure compliance with occupational health and wellbeing procedures and best practice.
- Support the delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the UK business.
Requirements
- Appropriate occupational nursing health qualification (qualified to degree level or a diploma with relevant experience).
- Ability to work effectively within a clinical team and collaborate with others to share best practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on sound judgement, consistency, teamwork, listening, influencing, challenging, coaching, development, performance management, and a great sense of humour.
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to personal performance and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent verbal and literacy skills to provide clear advice and direction.
What We Offer
- An expected starting salary from approximately £43,000 to £55,000, depending on experience, and up to 15% annual bonus.
