Administrative Support Officer
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Wellington Vale, a luxury nursing, residential and dementia care home in Waterlooville, Hampshire. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for greeting them professionally, handling telephone inquiries, and providing administrative support to the Home Administrator.
This role requires someone with excellent customer service skills, IT literacy, and previous telephone experience. You will be working on a part-time basis (8hrs per week) on a Tuesday each week, with flexibility to cover annual leave and ad-hoc sickness, including some weekend working.
Main Responsibilities:- Welcome and greet visitors to the home in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer the telephone and respond to inquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
- Provide additional administration support to the Home Administrator, including HR-related duties.
- Assist with recruitment tasks, such as sifting CVs, chasing references, and verifying ID documents.
- Organise internal meetings and ensure that any requirements have been actioned.
- Coordinate the staff meal process as applicable.
- Respond to emergency situations as requested by the home.
- Maintain the general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with the housekeeping team to ensure standards are maintained.
£11.91 per hour plus company benefits.
