About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Manager to join our team in the Central Region, covering Watford and surrounding areas. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting our communities in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a community patch plan in collaboration with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Home Group in our communities and undertake Housing Manager tasks such as patch inspections, anti-social behaviour management, statutory compliance visits, rent arrears visits, and viewings/sign-ups for new customers.
  • Progress legal paperwork such as Notices of Seeking Possession and prepare witness statements for anti-social behaviour cases at court.
  • Represent Home Group at Court on cases in your patch.
  • Have involvement across our other housing management functions.
Requirements
  • A background in neighbourhood management processes, either within the housing sector or an alternative sector.
  • An understanding of housing management, housing law, and customer service.
  • Fully competent in IT and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Super organised and methodical in your approach, with a proactive self-starter attitude.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Resilient and able to work with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities.
