Store Operations Lead - Perth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Duty Managing in the absence of the next level Leader when required, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Championing new ways of working within stores through an open mindset and positive attitude, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Leading colleagues in delivering task prioritization, focusing on customer-centric results and high-quality performance.
  • Planning, allocating, and following through on task delivery to maintain consistent standards across the store.
  • Driving on-the-job productivity, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Supporting colleagues through coaching and feedback, helping them develop and grow professionally.
  • Utilizing data insights to inform decisions and drive performance improvement.
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for colleagues and customers.
  • Collaborating with Store Leadership to deliver exceptional visual merchandising experiences, inspiring customers to shop and purchase more frequently.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.

About You:

  • A strong understanding of Marks & Spencer's operations, strategy, and future direction.
  • Effective management of your reactions and responses to change, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Able to help colleagues develop by listening actively, asking insightful questions, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Sets clear performance objectives for yourself in alignment with business goals and plans.
  • Takes accountability for planning and managing your work efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Treats all colleagues fairly, recognizing the value of diverse perspectives and needs.
  • Built positive relationships by being an active listener and taking an interest in others.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in retail operations or a related field, with a strong focus on customer service and quality delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of commercial operations, visual merchandising principles, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to interpret data relevant to the role and utilize insights to inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances.

Working Arrangements:

  • This role involves working a regular schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • You will be required to work flexibly to meet business needs, including occasional overtime.
