SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are currently working with a mainstream secondary school in Twickenham, seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, experience working with SEN pupils, and be trained in wheelchair handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to target students' specific needs
  • Assist with personal care and wheelchair handling
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • SEN experience and strong behaviour management skills
  • Trained or willing to learn personal care and wheelchair handling
  • University degree or A Level qualification
  • Previous support work within a school or child-related experience
  • Professional manner and enthusiasm
