Specialist Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Join our team as a Specialist Teaching Assistant and play a vital role in supporting deaf children and young people in their educational settings across Worcestershire.

About the Position
  • You will be responsible for advocating for the needs of deaf pupils and travelling across the county.
  • Experience working with children/young people, deafness, meeting targeted outcomes, and a BSL level 2 qualification or current study towards it are essential.

You will receive comprehensive training and have access to a range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities within the team.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Holiday Entitlement: As well as bank holidays, you'll get 26 days paid holiday (pro rata for part-time staff). If you get more than 26 days where you work now, we'll match your holiday up to 31 days.

Salary Details
  • 5 hours – £20,402 - £23,779 per annum
  • 20 hours – £12,555 - £14,634 per annum
  • 15 hours – £9,434 – £10,975 per annum

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £12,555 for 20 hours of work.
