Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Education Assistant to join our team in Worcestershire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work as a Cover Supervisor in our Ofsted-rated 'good' schools. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of regular teaching staff.

You will be responsible for overseeing classes and ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed by students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or those seeking flexible work within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups in the absence of regular teaching staff.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  • Provide support to students who may require assistance with tasks.
  • Report back on the progress and behaviour of students during the lesson.
  • Ensure the safety and safeguarding of students is paramount within all of your classes.
