SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancy

This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals in a Redditch-based school, providing specialist support to a child with SEN requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a calm and patient demeanor, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

About the Position:
  • The successful candidate will provide tailored support to the child on a 1-1 basis, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Prior experience working with children with Autism or other special needs is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Assistance with group work and observation of pupils under the guidance of the class teacher.
About You:
  • You must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification, such as an NVQ in Education, demonstrating your passion for education and teaching.
  • Experience working with children who have SEND needs and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
