Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Regional Chef to join our team at Bright Horizons. As an Early Years Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting healthy meals for children in our nurseries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for children, adhering to dietary requirements and minimizing waste.
- Lead cookery club sessions and support nursery activities, such as BBQs and Fetes.
- Work in partnership with the nursery team and parents to promote healthy eating and child welfare.
- Ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment, adhering to internal and external requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cooking in a domestic or commercial setting.
- Passion for nutrition and inspiring healthy eating.
- Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent).
- Sound knowledge of COSHH and managing dietary requirements.
