Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Service Manager to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality services and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including service performance, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in operational management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures, including those related to service delivery and patient safety.
