Clinical Unit Director

Austin Fraser is currently looking for a talented Clinical Unit Director to join their team in the Cumbria area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to lead our exceptional care home and make a positive impact on the lives of older people.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary of £21.30 per hour, translating to an annual salary of £42,642. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with our award-winning 'Creative Minds' programme and enjoy a range of benefits including childcare vouchers and a pension scheme.
Key Responsibilities- To co-ordinate and lead on the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment within a nursing unit.
- To manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within a unit, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation, and quality standards.
- To provide clinical leadership and expertise to all colleagues on shift as required, assuming the role of nurse-in-charge whilst on duty.
- To participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a current active NMC Pin.
- Previous older people's care experience is desirable but not essential.
