Care and Support Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care and Support Worker to join our team at Candlelight Care. As a Care and Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. Your primary goal will be to empower our clients to maintain their independence while ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with domestic household tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
- Support clients with medication and mobility aids
- Report any significant changes in a client's health or circumstances to the Registered Manager
- Encourage and enable clients to remain independent while acting in their best interests and protecting and safeguarding their wellbeing
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have at least two years of experience in a care-based role, either in the UK or internationally. You will also need to be in the UK and on sponsorship with another provider, willing to switch to Candlelight Care. A full English driving license and access to your own vehicle are also essential. A warm and empathetic approach, along with good people skills, is crucial for success in this role.
